With a few exceptions, misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases are prosecuted by city attorney offices. • For youth, data includes all levels of cases. • Data is based on the lead alleged violation in the case, both for referrals and petitions. • Age data is based on age at date of incident. • Race data is based on information provided in the referral and may be updated if we receive new information.
